ANTICIPATED REHEARSAL TIMES:
We will gather for a read thru of the script soon after auditions dependent upon any conflicts with KVTA's The Christmas Schooner rehearsals. After that, we will determine any rehearsal dates based on conflicts for the cast and staff. We will take time off from rehearsal around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve/Day. With a small cast, most, if not all, cast members will be needed for each rehearsal. We will do our best to work around conflicts once we complete our casting.
Please list all conflicts that you have from November 17 through February 1, 2026. We will not rehearse all of these days, we just need to know everyone's availability. If at all possible, we would appreciate minimal conflicts in January. Conflicts will not preclude you from being cast. They are only needed for us to develop a rehearsal schedule, which will be based on cast and staff availability. Attendance during Tech Week (January 26-29) and performances (January 30-February 1) is mandatory.
Rehearsal dates are subject to change. We want to have all of the cast at ALL of our final tech rehearsals, so please be open and honest when completing your conflict calendar. Please be sure to list all of your conflicts from the audition date through the final performance date. If you have any questions about the information provided here, please email the staff at clue@kvta.org.

AUDITION READINGS:
At the initial audition, we will assign parts to auditioners and perform readings from the script. We want to see your character. The words being read are far less important than how you portray your character. We will not be posting readings in advance. Should you wish to read the script in order to prepare for your audition, please contact the staff for a perusal at clue@kvta.org.
CAST LIST:
The cast list will be posted on the KVTA website at http://www.kvta.org and on the KVTA Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/kankakeetheatre on Sunday, November 16, after all auditions have been completed, so it could be very late in the evening. Thank you in advance for your patience as we will have many difficult decisions to make!
For those cast in the show, our CAST MEETING and READ THRU will be held the week of November 17 at the KVTA Studios. The exact date will be determined based on conflicts among the cast and staff.
