Membership Overview

KVTA members are crucial to everything that goes on at the Kankakee Valley Theatre Association.  Membership contributions help us present the best in music, drama, comedy, and dance, and they allow us to offer  performances and programs to those that call the Kankakee area their home.  Make the arts come alive ... become a KVTA member today!


5 reasons to become a member of KVTA:

1. It's your theatre! KVTA is a non-profit theatre that came from this community and only exists based on your financial support and the support of all our members.  Together, we can educate, enchant, enrich, and enlighten the entire region!

2. Educate: Each summer we hold a summer theatre camp or teen experience.  Kids that wouldn't ordinarily experience theatre have a chance to do just that!

3. Enchant: World renowned plays and much local talent create productions that leave you laughing or crying.  

4. Enrich: Theatre is such a large part of our lives.  We hold shows for area schools each year in order to introduce theatre arts into their curriculum.

5. Enlighten:  KVTA challenges the community to broaden their horizons with productions such as "To Kill a Mockingbird" and 'A Few Good Men."
